Privacy notice
This notice covers the only personal data this site collects: what you type into the list form. It is written to satisfy both the Mexican LFPDPPP and the European GDPR, because most of the people reading it are in Europe.
Who is responsible
The Chilam Group, operator of XTC Xcalak, Quintana Roo, Mexico, acting as data controller. Write to us at the address at the bottom of this page for anything in this notice.
What we collect
Your name, your email address, and — if you give them — your travel interest, your approximate travel window and the country you would travel from. Nothing is collected automatically beyond what our host needs to serve the page. There are no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking on this site.
Why, and on what basis
To write to you about the reopening of XTC and the publication of packages, dates and rates. The legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form. Withdraw it at any time and we delete your record.
Who sees it
Our own team, and the service providers that store the record and deliver the message on our behalf. We do not sell, rent, trade or share the list with anyone else, including tour operators.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it, or until three years after the reopening, whichever comes first.
Your rights
Access, rectification, cancellation and objection under the LFPDPPP; access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection under the GDPR, including the right to complain to your national supervisory authority. One email to us is enough to exercise any of them, and we do not ask for a reason.
Changes
If this notice changes materially, we publish the new version here with a new date before it takes effect.
